Please leave your valuables at home. Whilst your room will have a personal safe, Mount Carmel cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal possessions whilst you
are in the hospital.
| Fasting instructions need to be checked directly with your Consultant. | |
| All minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. If your child requires an overnight stay, one parent must stay overnight and accommodation will be provided. | |
| Siblings of children are not permitted to attend the hospital outside of visiting times. | |
| For younger children, please bring a favourite toy or teddy bear on the day. | |
| Medication - Patients are requested to bring any medications they are taking and copies of any prescriptions if possible. |

Mount Carmel accepts all types of payment for services – Cash, Cheque, Credit Card, Laser/Visa Debit.
There are currently no ATM Services available at the Hospital.

The restaurant, which is situated on the fourth floor of the hospital, overlooks the gardens
and serves a range of hot and cold dishes. It is available to patients and their visitors from 8.00am - 6.00pm every day.
After hours there are vending machines located on the Ground Floor of the hospital for visitors to use.

Baby food is also available for purchase in the hospital shop.

A public telephone booth is available on the ground floor next to the lift. All rooms and wards have telephones. The use of Mobile Phones is strictly prohibited.
Televisions are available in all wards and rooms.
There are Wi Fi Services available from both the Main Reception Area and Restaurant 4th Floor.

Mount Carmel Hospital does not have formal visiting hours and welcomes visitors. We would ask that you would respect any notices with regard to visiting restrictions that may be displayed from time to time.
